DEAR LANA AND ROWLAND, I can't tell you how happy I am for you both. I had a feeling the word was "mum" when I heard the news at Terri's party so I didn't mention it to anyone but now that the news is out, I want to shout my heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to a rare, lovely peach and her lucky partner.
True love is rare....finding true love a little later in life is even harder. You two are a very lucky couple. I wish you all the best.
I apologize for the delay in my relaying my excitement for you but I just spent a week down in Macon/Atlanta with Willie for his friend Scott's funeral. It was a simple and moving ceremony - ending with the singing of Desperado - his favorite tune.
That's what ceremonies to celebrate life are all about - moving forward into life, love and happiness, having all your favorite people and songs surround you, and, like you say, DANCE LIKE EVERYBODY'S WATCHING. This is an extraordinary love story and I think all of us on the GB are honored to have been around while it blossomed into a sweet spring flower that will bloom forever...continually bursting forth with new petals with more and more intense fragrance and deeper, richer color. May your love grow and fluorish forever.
Much love, best wishes and congratulations from Elizabeth and Willie P.
