Speaking of weddings, there was an engagement announcement in today's "Richmond Times-Dispatch" for a Mr. Casey and Ms. Jones. I wonder what their first dance will be? "Drivin' that train..." :laugh:
Each time "Festival Express" is mentioned, I can't help but wonder why there are no scenes of Delaney & Bonnie and Friends performing?
Yes, the box set from The Band seems intriguing, but is it "worth it" if you've already replaced the original CDs with the "remastered" ones within the past few years? Does the DVD add that much?
In addition to losing Don Knotts, actor Darren McGavin passed away, too. He's famous (to me, anyway) as the dad in "A Christmas Story" who does battle with a furnace and the neighbor's dogs, sets word records for changing a car's tire, and has great taste in lamps.
