excellent DTB show thursday in portland OR. Very high energy and the crowd was enthusiastic to say the least. Almost filled the place. Malhoun was amazing, sailin on, very nice key to the highway, everything's everything seems to have been reworked and jams, hook encore. they really seemed to stretch out on almost every tune. During one of kofi's solos, he started yelling "derek trucks is a bad mutha" and the crowd unleashed the f-bomb a few times. They seemed to be enjoying themselves and it really shined through in the music. HOT HOT HOT. I'll post more after eugene tommorow.
