Yep, the big FIVE-OH!
There's things that I've experienced,
I think you really should know.
You're gonna have the jokesters,
Hear all the old cliches,
Over the hill, what hill?
Better, not older, they'll say.
Yes, Fifty is nifty,
Aging is like fine wine,
"Old" friends are the best friends,
and others not so kind.
So speaking as one who's been there,
In my mind, this thought has stuck,
Older & wiser, my Ass, I say!
Getting older just plain sucks!
With that fun said, on a serious note,
My friend, you're so special, you see,
Wishing you nothing but blue skies, you know,
Today & forever from me.
Wish I coulda been there to share in person, but was glad my pkg. made it. SEE you in March!!!
