I'm at the old stuff store today and find this small table for $15 that was cool and the guy sees my GA and Friends faded t-shirt on he says.. "I've seen the Allman Brothers a few times". I say yes, they still are playing and sounding good (avoid the long DB explanation when not sure of who you are explaining to) and he says, "yeah, they used to come down and set up in Piedmont Park, down in Georgia where I'm from"... needless to say I knew I was in for an interesting chat... nice guy, and we talk Allman for a while and the guy behind the counter says how he's seen them twice in Red Rocks and have I seen Government Mule? So I have a new favorite used junk store... He also went on to tell me he interviewed Ted Nugent today... OK, now I'm kinda wondering is this for real, a dumpy, funky used junk store, good old boy owner, talked to Ted Nugent this morning, OK, it could happen... he goes on to tell me he does a Saturday morning outdoorsman show on an AM local station for the local outdoors hunting / fishing types. And people can call in and ask questions or give opinions. So out of the blue, Ted Nugent calls in.... Well, I heard him (Ted) do a radio interview about a year ago, so I knew Ted does do that. This guy tells me what a wild man Ted is and he don't pull no punches about hunting, the environment, GreenWeenies, anti-gun, etc. He is borderline radical, but I agree with 80% of it.... anyway, my day at the junk store... I did get to tell the guy I saw Ted with the Amboy Dukes
