Charley,
Haven't figured that out yet. We actually thought about riding bikes (not Harleys) if we could find somewhere to lock 'em up. As soon as we come up with a strategy I'll let you know.
Sheep: can't wait to listen to those Warfield shows in great detail. Those were truly some of the greatest concert experiences of my life, thanks to you, Allen, Janette, MundeleinHoward and everybody else that gave the Warfield Theater the coolest vibe I've ever felt at a show, much less three.
Great Scott: Alan Parsons also engineered Abbey Road-Abbey Road Studios was his main studio, so he did a ton of work there.
Golaith would know best, but a music producer is more like a movie director than an engineer is. A engineer does things like set recording levels, make sure all the equipment is available and functioning, provide technical feedback, etc. A producer is more conerned with the overall vision of the project, and provides contructive criticism, if necessary. That's why Tom Dowd is such a vital contributor to the ABB's sound. He's not afraid to tell them when they suck.
A lot of producers start out as engineers, but not many producers start as producers and later become engineers. Being a producer is kind of like being a creative consultant, in some cases.
