i just don't. personal preference. some deep psychological thing about being underneath something, fresh air, i dunno. the people i know who like the back of the loge outnumber me about 38 - 1.
people are entitled to arbitrarily like or dislike stuff. this, for example, is my 10th consecutive year of not asking the question "why would ANYONE want to hear (fill in name of any of the ABB's ten worst songs ever per my personal preference) when that tune doesn't improve on the sound of the band standing onstage tuning their instruments?" on the other hand, i know people who run for the lobby during MY favorite songs, which is OK by me. people just like different stuff. i'd rather be halfway up the upper balcony than 3rd row in the loge. puts me to sleep, even as the people around me are saying "this is like watching the band from the couch in your living room! awesome!!"
