WGNTV--***news update*** The flash flooding that occurred last year in downtown Chicago has finally been explained by a Dr. Tan Dan who has studied the phenomena first hand and has connected two seemingly unrelated incidents to a group of individuals known collectively as "Lefty Collins and The No Mercy Band". Our SkyNews pilots first noticed the heat signature over the House Of Blues that occurred everytime the group performed there; the rest of the city would be 10 degrees and the HOB would be 'Jimmy Buffett toasty', whatever that means... Dr. Tan Dan pieced it all together when reports of the No Mercy van having a flat tire returning from a Gadsden, Alabama gig. "Darnest thing I ever saw" Trooper C. Jones told our reporters, " There was this strange heat coming from the van and the tire blew under the pressure. Four guys jumped out and started unloading all this musical equipment. It was as if I had been put under some sort of spell! I noticed later as they drove off four indentions in the road where they had melted the asphalt. How can something be so hot and not burn up?" We will catch this group at the HOB on December 10th and beyond. We will have investigative reporters on the scene.
