Whew - I'm finally back - have no idea whats going on here - way behind in my reading but I wanted to let you know that the Mule on Nov. 26 kicked ass!! Could be my favorite show of the year - the band has definitely stepped it up - you know when Warren does his bended knee thing he is on fire - lol the set list was classic Mule - hopefully for the older crowd at the STate Theater in Albany and what a place - absolutely gorgeous theater - what the Beacon would be if they put any $$ into it and its half its size - the security were way cool and very nice - even put an older gentleman into an empty seat in the second row who did not belong there - a very nice gesture. They allowed you to partake and only took people out of the aisle for fire safety sake - this security crew should be giving lessons to every venue in the country. Fool's Moon, Banks of the Deep End, Little Toy Brain, Sco-Mule burned the stage I thought - Effigy, Life Before Insanity, Beautifully Broken, Thorazine Shuffle - absolutely loved this show and am begging for two copies please!! The opening band Rana were four college kids who knew what they were doing - very good - they rocked - Warren brought out the guitarist for the encore - you could tell he was nervous but he blew us away on his solo on Almost Cut My Hair - if Rana comes your way, go see them. Is it December 30th yet????
