I would like to second Carol's post concerning Rusty Barkley. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. I've personally known Rusty for at least 30 years and had seen him play and been aware of his prodigous talents for 5 years before that. Nobody has made me feel better by listening to them play guitar more than Rusty. Nobody! Unlike so many other "musicians." Rusty is as nice and down to earth as your big brother. I am so sorry to have missed the Jam For Duane. And I really missed seeing all the family. Believe you me I really needed to see y'all and share in the music. For those of you who may not know I'm running for public office with the general election being this Tuesday. I have been campaigning at least two hours a day going door-to-door for 5 to 6 days a week because I want to make a positive change in my town. I haven't touched my guitar in a month. Still haven't received my IL's from Charlotte. And to top it all off a fairly good friend from work died last week of a heart attack at 37. But I'm not crying because I have tremendous faith in the Lord and don't want any sympathy, but I would ask y'all to keep Rusty and his family in your prayers. God bless each and every one of you.
