Nice couple of pictures in our newspaper today, unfortunately not in the on-line version. They were in the News section--not entertainment. First is a shot of Boyer, Talton, & Parnell onstage. Second is a crowd shot. GBers I can identify: Big Dave, Jamgrams, TanDan, Bluefox and her friend from Delaware, Ruth, Carol McDonald, Brofan, Cathee and Bart, Sista Bluz, Bluedad, Skybyrd, PatrickCrenshaw, Skyponydogboy. I know some bad stuff went down, saw Jason's forum post, heard of a couple of other situations, don't know all the facts. Looks like the rules changed to some extent Sat. morning, not cool, may be just missed communication. Brent had to take a stand a couple of times, looks like it worked out OK. I went home to change around 5, got back at 6:20, had to wait outside like everybody else for over a half hour due to overcrowding. Just off the phone with Bro. Tommy Booth, he's driving first to Macon, then to Savannah before heading back to NY. We should be getting updates. I'm going to leave most of the posting to others for a day or 2, see what others thought. Thanks to everyone here for their support and friendship. Brent Sibley is the key person in the world for keeping people mindful of the contribution Duane Allman made to our world today. He takes the responsibility very seriously, sometimes the stress is overwhelming. Brent is one of the best people I have ever known. Had there been no Duane Allman, we would never have met. My contribution to the Jam for Duane consists of posting here, making a few phone calls. Brent has the responsibility for making everything--and I mean everything--work. While trying to manage his everyday world at the same time. He is my hero. Duane would be very proud of how he handles things, I believe. Eat A Peach for Peace, God bless us, every one.
