Looks like ol Fred put Wilma on a slow train to the Everglades.......Pray she'll be a good girl and kick up some fine fishing....
my sweet Kevin thought Wilma the perfect excuse to surprise me with a weekend vacation to Hot, or more like delighfully nippy 'Lanta...Atlanta sure is pretty on a saturday night....
Thanks to a few good friends in Macon and everybodies favorite Mama Louise , Mama Hill and Juanita, for everything...
Special thanks to Brent, Randy, Johnny Sandlin, Carl , and most special thanks to 2 of my all time favorites.... guitar-man Jackie Pearson and his lovely wife Elizabeth....Your gracious Southern hospitality and grand music is beyond compare....
Randall..Jackie was honored with his copy of the fabulous 5-disc fans-choice ABB Blues set....I wish you could have seen his face when I explained what it was..Priceless....
Brent, how about that Jack!!! The highlight of the evening.....Jack was just htn all night long....but he played this new song......didnt catch the entire name..something about rain....Have mercy....the best new instrumental since MJ...I meant to tell you, this song had words, and it was still the best instrumental since MJ.....Unreal.....I turned around to see if it was just me...and my glance caught Kevin, Randy and Brent standing behind me with jaws dropped to the dance-floor....
I uploaded a few pix of the 2nd Street Music Hall and the Jack Pearson Band for everyones pleasure, while electric is still juicing...
We also had the rare opportunity to catch a sinfuly good Tony Joe White at Old Smith's , talk about a rainy night in Georgia..Great show ...great little city...
