TanDan, Hope you enjoy Al Dimeola tonight. He is one of my fave guitarists from back in the day. I know I discussed coming to the show, however the date sneaked up on me. Besides that, I have to set a recalcitrant brother (WhineyBabySuarePants (aka skyponydogboy) straight on the great Fender Stratocaster guitar. And I am crying as I write this that our brother thinks Mr Gibson..who was Mr Gibson anyway, a math teacher? what was Mr.Gibson's first name..Gomer maybe ..dunno...and who did he learn luthiering from.. answer...Mr Leo Fender. His mind is a total wreck and I hope he can find solace on the Fender website. To think he has been playing all those years with a less than Estaban model guitar saddens me.. Crying loudly now.... Our brother never got to play a guitar ((((crying loudly))) with a whammy bar, or one volume control instead of two. I know he can't walk and chew gum at the same time and the Strat would be right up his alley. ((((rolling on my back in anguish..and still crying..loudly!!!!!))). The boy don't know what he is missing. But I plan to help him ((coming to myself)). Gonna give that boy some lessons so he won't embarrass himself at the JFD. If you hear him play some off notes..it is him...If you hear him play some sweet notes...it is because I let him borrow mine. Keep him in your prayers and hug him when you see him because he knows not what he does. I still love the brother and hope he finds some guitar with real stings instead of the screen door wire that he currently strings his guitar with. I will give him credit though..he can trash talk with the best! Gotta go practice.... bluedad
