Sounds like I missed knowing a very cool person in Tommy. Everyones posts about Tommy really hit home with me. My father when he was alive did not like rock and roll except for the Allman Brothers especially "Stormy Monday". He and I would listen to the Filmore Album in 1971. We both were shocked and deeply saddened when Duane was killed and a year later Berry. We had a bond about the ABB's that lasted until he died in 1990. Saturday at the Chicago Theater I sat in AA in front of Greg. There were four chairs in front of us that the ushers never allowed anyone to sit in. When Greg started playing Stormy Monday I felt Dad sitting in one of those seats. WOW! I will never forget my Dad and all the wonderful friends who have passed on to a greater place. On a MORE UPBEAT note: 2 days till the ABB's play at Summerfest. YEH! Also seeing Uncle PHIL(that's Phil Lesh) makes me think about Jerry and what awe inspiring years we had with the Grateful Dead. PREPARTY MEETING PLACE! SOUNDBOARD/MULE 3:30 OR EARLIER. TAKE CARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS
