"Good morning,little GuestBook....can I go home with you?" Sorry,THAT one ALWAYS gets me!(the REAL version,of course!) And I got me a LIVE version in Knoxville on Tuesday,too!!(From Row E) Close enough to catch all of the interaction between the Brothers.... to see all the expressions on their faces while they strike that certain note....& being close enough to make eye contact......=priceless!!! 🙂 What can I say? Knoxville was a great show!(*Check out the Instant Live....you'll know what I'm talkin about!) I was freaked out about Warren not arriving in time to start the show.....but when I saw his outline walking on stage with the rest of the Brothers......well,it almost made me cry!(*with joy of course!!) So then they start....& it was ON!! The crowd was so amped & ready for the Brothers,too! My whole section danced ALL night!! OMG! "Dimples"??And with Jack Pearson??!! "Egypt" has really progressed into an excellent song!(*every time that I've heard them play it,I hear something new that sticks out to me!) The whole setlist was great! Greatscott & Nicole stayed at the same hotel as us,so we met up w/ them pre-show! We also checked out the Downtown Brewery before the show! Great beer & pizza!! We ran into Matt (origapeach)there...& about 5 times throughout the show!(Very nice to finally meet you!) ALWAYS a pleasure to see JNB at the HTN booth!! Joe,you always have a vibe about you that helps make the show a better place!! (Keep on,keepin on,my brother!!) 😉 Thank you,the Allman Brothers Band for giving me a GREAT last ABB show of the summer!! Your music keeps taking me to places that I never knew existed!!(And for MANY more years...I hope!!) **did I forget to mention that we got Gregg's setlist AND we got the chance to talk with Derek by the buses??!!*** Fantastic night,y'all!! 🙂
