I'm sorry we didn't stop at the hotel yesterday and meet more people like Billy etc., but we were anxious to get as good an area-we had about 20 some odd folks by showtime so we needed an area-as possible. Red Rocks magic prevailed-an almost full moon peaking over the rocks behind the stage to start the show and continuing overhead. Great temperature and a lot of friends. Who could ask for more. I was having a harder time after the show making it back up to the top than Bird, who kept me company. I am so glad his trip worked out after last year's Montana storm show.
I was also glad when Jim Benjamin and his wife Jennifer moved down with us at the start of the Brothers. Jim took up from where Steve/oldcoot left off last year, and brought burned copies of shows to hand out. I got an early Derek dvd that I have not watched yet.
Summer can end here now, I got my Allman Brothers at Red Rocks fix!
