Fires are now breaking out throughout N'awlins...We saw homes spontaneously blaze to the ground for months after Charley blew through....Electrical wiring has been compromised by water, insects and rodents ,forced into homes and structures to escape the flood. this science of Hurricanes needs much more study with the tremendous growth that the coasts are experiencing....We were all but ordered NOT to evacuate as Charley approached.....Had it not been for a frantic call from Judi Petty to "get out!"and "I wont take no for an answer!" Kevin and I would have never loaded up the family and left ...as it were, we were the ONLY vehicle on the road...We honestly believed we were going for a ride in the country and dinner out. As predicted, this storm season , like last , has been extremely active..There are already 3 more Tropical Depressions lined up and ready to roll...One upgraded to TS and named Lee. Jeannie..you must be very proud to work for a company with so much heart and soul.... Brent and Rick.....you are both right....but looking at opposite sides of a coin... Prisoners have been released from prisons ..This is something I simply can not understand...Looting food/diapers for babies is survival...But now, shots are being fired on hospital patients, eldery and police..women are being raped...Order must be restored by whatever means it takes.
