(AP) For the second time in as many years, singer Art Garfunkel has been charged with marijuana possession in Ulster County. State Police say the 63-year-old Garfunkel's 2005 Buick ran a stop sign in Woodstock on Sunday afternoon, a trooper smelled marijuana and found a marijuana cigarette in the ash tray. The Manhattan resident was issued an appearance ticket and released. Garfunkel was also charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana in January 2004, after a trooper stopped a limousine in which he was riding for speeding in nearby Hurley. In that case, Garfunkel pleaded guilty and paid 200 dollars in fines.
