Hey gang, I started my day by making a donation to Salvation Army.Iwas working @ Shea Stadium on 9/11/01.Saw the second plane hit the tower on ramp form upper deck about 12 miles away...something I won't soon forget...anyway, point is that I stayed at shea for 5 straight days as it was a staging area for police, firemen, and EMS.The foodservice I worked for provided food and drink for all.We received many donations from large companies to a mother and daughter who on the thursday night came to shea w/ 200 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.Anytime I see devastation like Kristina,it brings back the memories of that week.Can't believe it's been 4 years already, but once again, time heals all.Peace and safety to y'all down south..."people can you hear it, love is everywhere"
