Thought I would mention that I emailed Greg Kot of the Tribune about his article where he mentioned that Derek was Butch's son. I actually got a response from him. Here it is:
"yes, unfortunately i do know better. i reviewed an ABB show soon after Derek joined a couple of years ago and identified him as Butch's nephew. so i knew the facts once. i'll try to get it right again when i review this week's shows. thanks for the note. greg "
Shows a bit of class, I think, responding to an email - I know that most don't.
Hope the Best Damn Band in the Land really gives him something to write about tonight! 🙂
