reviews are great.... I am actually hoping for a Jack Red Rocks. Couple things, it will mean Warren is resting, and two, I get too hear Jack with Bro's again. Warren has been like the pssst pssst doesn't he look overworked talk I remember at 2001 Beach to Peach. So he needs it, and in private I think many might say Thank God an opportunity..... I'll also say that while they have been great it sound this year, I really for a couple years have seen no new real change... it was starting to seem like a musical stalemate of sorts.... predictable at times. The IL's while great the last couple of years, if you have 3 of different setlists you have what you need. Derek has seemed in a same grove for a bit and Warren playing Rocking Horse a million times is a great joke here, but maybe a sign of him needing a new groove in the ABB. So Derek Jack, great, Jack has fun and inspires new Derek licks. Whole band has to pay attention and be more alert with new mix.... this is what shows that are not like all the rest come from..... Best to Warren, I have a promo record size Seven Turns cover art, and was looking at yesterday. Old Woody looks so bad (tough) on that cover, like an old west outlaw. Warren is trim with long hair and a mustache, a bit different.... Dickey in the shot with duster (where is who was it that kept wanting a duster? I almost went out and bought him one to shut him up 🙂 so looking at that art with the old band.... Woody gone, the Dickey blow up, Gregg still not having delt with demons yet.... so for Warren, cool bro, go heal, catch your breath, play a box guitar and listen to the wind. and if the choice is Mule or ABB, well I think the world needs mule more! ABB can do the Phoenix from the ashes again. DB would fill in...... 🙂
