Finally got one of my eyes to shut after not blinking watching the Rory 1994 DVD sent to me by PeterK.
So I put on a CD that I had forgotten about and Donna Hopkins, Tinsley Ellis and Col. Bruce Hampton are just some of the performers. "Fixin To Die" by Hampton has just made its 100th play in my CD player. I've heard, and read in the HTN, about Hampton, but haven't heard much.
Anybody who is into this cat, (Hop?) send me a pm please naming his 'must have' CD. Love this stuff!!
