hey gang good morning:cool: very good reviews by the others,Got ther chance to meet randell just befor the show...after describing where he was at the 1st nite I reconized who he might be anbd hunted him down on saturday...there he was dead center...2 folks back...nice to meet you Randell. I felt saturday was a couple notches higher.. yes wp was a great way to end the 1st set.. Im really kinda fried, so for now I will be brief.....My review from the the first night I had a selfish wish that Oteil would use his new/old 1964 fender jazz bass much more on the 2nd night yes yes....wp was awesome the frequencies and tones carry much much better than the "mod" there are low frequencies sometimes that are just to boomy.... oteils fender bass.... is so perfect.. a much better fit for the over all tone of the band....and as for my selfish wish...not that he read my post...and I did chat with him befor the show....the 2nd set instumental and maybe the encore were the only tunes he play the mod on.... thanks oteil.....I guess I love that fender bass tone..:cool: okay, the coffe is kickin in... at the fillmore they have this side area ,table and chairs et...all kinds of posters....so IM sittin back leaning against the wall, this is after the 1st set....just relaxing enjoying the sit after dancin and I see these white chicken legs come passin by me....saying to myself gad zooks....who is the bird with those legs....low and behold its Butch...LOL :-p passin by, a couple minutes later derek walks by and I give derek a happy fathers day wish.....greeted by a big grin 😀 I had a blast:cool:
