Pittsburgh Weekend: After an unreal ABB show on Saturday, I went to see Dickey Betts/GS at the Pittsburgh Blues Fest on Sunday Nite. Dickey and son Duane were unreal! Played for over 2.5 hrs, mixed a few new songs into the set, and of course covered every Richard Betts ABB song that he is known for. It was great to see DB having a blast, and letting Duane take many of the leads, while he respectfully played backup rhythm. (This Was Posted Saturday, but I have not had any replies..... Pittsburgh Photos Anyone???) Anyone have Pittsburgh Photos (Need a Miracle!!) Hi all. Man, I won WDVE;s "On Stage" contest on Friday, and had the pleasure of sitting "On Stage" at last nites Post Gazette Pavillion show. Not Back Stage or "Side Stage" but right ON THE FRIGGING Stage. Kirk West and Burt Holoman were unreal friendly, but we had to take the camera back to the car (security issues I guess). Anyway, I am putting a collage together, and am requesting any photo's that may have my wife and I in them. KirK West ushered us onto the stage to two customized "Directors Chairs". Chairs were Black/Gold and had the ABB/Shroom Logo on the chairs. We were placed 8 feet to the right of Orteill's normal place on the right side, directly next to the on stage soundman. Unreal!! I have been backstage many times but this was Heaven!! The entire band signed both of our chairs, and spent a lot of time talking about music, the past and open E slide tunings. Butch gave my wife Marti (Lil' Martha) his sticks, and even recieved a set list from Burt. Thanks Guys!!! If anyone has any photos that would show us 2 PeachHeads having the time of our lives, I will name my next kid (or Dog) in your beautiful honor. My email address is mark@markcaskey.com if tou can send a JPG or TIF. Thanks to WDVE, the Post Gazette Pavillion, and most importantly, the ABB. Peace, Mark Caskey
