charlesinator, when I first got the new P&F CD and listened to it, I thought, "Well, that's okay." Then it didn't leave my car CD player for about a week. Each time through revealed something new for me. The songs are much more "to-the-point" than their wonderful live sets, of course.
ABB content? I am SO looking forward to hearing the ABB and P&F in a matter of days! I know that Jimmy and Rob have been sighted sitting in with the Brothers recently; could another full-on ABB/P&F jam like "Franklin's Tower" from Raleigh last August be coming up? Heck, let Oteil AND Phil play on the same tune. (Sorry; I'm a bass player.) After reading these LA and SF reviews, I am REALLY looking forward to this trip!
