Hello out there in GB land. I've been ridiculously busy and have had little time to lurk and no time to write. Just a quick note as last night I was able to get a couple of hours off by myself and as I will on those rare occasions burned a little nature and put on the headphones. Listened to 9-23-00 and once again came to the conclusion that that show is absolutely the best live tape I have, including many instant lives. The band was just smoking that night (pun intended). Gregg's voice as huge, Jimmy Herring should get an award for that performance and I swear to God Derek was the best I've ever heard him. Finished my session off with Worried Down with the Blues from Deep End. I thought this was their best song this year live, just massive.Any way although I don't get here as much as I used to I'll say two quick things: 1) Youse guys are awesome, I miss the interaction. 2) ABB is still the best damned music on earth and we are lucky to have and appreciate them.
