Love and prayers to those gathering in Macon today..esp Judi Petty...... Tricone thanks for sharing ....those ole Harley's love drama. Please post a website if those Central FLA gigs ever take a turn toward the semi tropics Southbound on HWY 41..Gatorz in Port Charlotte hosts a LIVE blues loving biker crowd.. Happy Hibiscus Day to all the lovers of the good earth.. Tyler...thought of you last night....Punta Gorda is hosting its first ever National Hibiscus Festival ...We were taking Lucille out for a spin...get a little wind in our faces...and were surpised to find a real stage set-up on the Peace River......Even better...just in time to catch a Blues-band. The leader singer had it, Memphis-style..played a mean Blues-harp too...The band was tight and polished...Setlist excellent , Robert Johnson to Robert Cray ...the Guitarist was young ... struggled to keep up with the more mature grace and style the rest of the band earned, but was able to get a pretty darn nice sound with his slow rhythmic licks........ We parked Lucille far enough away, to enjoy the stroll along the riverside.....Lucille's a hardtail..walk the kinks out, you know? It wasnt till we got closer, did I see the Blues Harp playing Lead Singer had his own set of wheels..... With Waylon being the exception, I cant recall ever having seen that before....What a great world we are living in today. eapfp, Ca
