Here is a band that has sold millions & millions of albums/cds (Decade of Hits sold over 2 million alone in about 6 years), was a first ballot inductee into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, experienced their largest popularity during their non-original lineup years, had 4 guitarists in the Rolling Stone 100 greatest guitarists of all-time list including #2, and is one of the most played bands in the history of album-FM-rock radio (albeit a format that isn't as dominant as it once was). Go Google them up to see how many times they are written about and mentioned every week in the media...90% of references are positive. Not bad for an underground secret.
