Today I bought a ring for my sweet angel Cheryl. The one thing I have always prided myself about has been being a "good person." This has not changed but Cheryl makes me a better person and absolutely puts me to shame. As I type this she is in Rutledge, Georgia acting as camp director as a part of her job, which is her passion, for children with heart disease (she works for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta). That right there, while obvious, doesn't make her what she is, it is just part of the whole package. I met her at my good friends wedding. Upon meeting her I reported back to my friends that she was "just as pleasant, fun, and friendly as she is beautiful." That is the first and most on point compliment I have given her in our two years of dating, unfortunately it was second hand to her but the feeling was sincere and has not wavered. I intend to propose to her next Saturday, she gets home on Thursday, and I am excited and consider myself very fortunate. Please excuse my lightly drunken ramblings but I wanted to share how fortunate I feel with the many people I consider friends and whose opinions I value. I hope this finds all well. Take care, Ryan
