Hey now! :wave: Been out of the loop for a couple of days. Missed my main man Goliath's birthday!! Hope you enjoyed it, David. I'm proud to call you my friend. Thanks for the Huntsville and New Orleans reviews and stories. What a treat Saturday night must have been! I know Buppalo doesn't just throw around the accolades, so the Jack show must have really been something else. Man oh man...sure wish I could have been there. Not sure what is going on with Great Southern, but if it is getting ugly here, I can only imagine what it is like over on Dickey's site. The timing of Dan's departure leads me to believe that there is more to this story...that and the fact that a certain band called The Renegades of Southern Rock was booked (along with the Derek Trucks Band) for the Bean Blossom Blues Festival in Indiana at least three weeks ago. The festival is in September... Anyway, this seems like one of those times to take a deep breath and stay out of another man's business. Dangerous Dan seems like a solid dude, and I wish him well. And Dickey? If we've learned nothing else, it is that Dickey is a survivor, and a resourceful one at that. He'll be okay, and I'm sure the band will keep on rockin'. I would stick up for Carol, but she is a big girl and she can take care of herself. Plus, the people that did the hit jobs on her don't give a crap what I think anyway, and pretty much just ducked in here to take a quick cheap shot at someone that I happen to think is a fine human being. How proud y'all must feel. Just my .02... 🙂
