Tyler I have to clarify my statement. They came by alot to hang out with my boss. This was 1978-79, Islamorada in the Florida Keys. They spent a lot of time at the Plantation Yacht Harbor, fishing. They were in and out all the time but it wasn't to talk to me... One of the guys got a cigar from Mr. Dundee and he went and framed it. Mantle signed a bunch of baseballs one day and I can't find mine.
I was just a kid and didn't really appreciate who those three guys were...
Didn't mean to give the impression that 'I knew them'. And yes, MM was the most polite person I had met. Very friendly, held one of my co-workers baby for a front page local rag photo.
