Happy Birthday Sheyenne! Happy Birthday to Croky too And a big 10th Happy Anniversary greeting out to Hittin' the Web! I don't remember when I first logged in to HTW; it might have been late '95 or early '96. I get the same feeling logging in today as I did then: excitement of sharing the common interest of this great music with others, along with the friendship, updates, tour info, tape trading (at least it was tape trading then!), band and crew info, live show database, pictures, tech talk, and the insight into how we all appreciate the music and the people that create it and make it available to us, past and present. I've enjoyed seeing the development and progress of the site over the years, although even from the beginning it was a well-developed and functioning site. I'll always remember the excitement of being the two-millionth visitor to the old site (remember the counter?) But in a way it's the same good feeling everytime I log in to this site. Thanks to Rowland and Lana and all that have made this such a great place to visit over the last 10 years. Here's to many more!
