Krishna, Sorry about your son, I hope he heals from the incident and as Carol posted, I hope it doesn't leave him fearful of dogs. I hope you got a copy of the police report and I definitely would give the PD a call, ask to speak to the shift supervisor on that day. Animal Control laws vary from state to state, county to county..... Here in GA, in my county, we have leash and containment laws. Call your local Animal Shelter to see what can be done. In most cases like this, I feel an animal should never be turned over to the owner for quaranteen. Here in Hall County, when an animal attacks someone, it is taken to the Animal Control Center for quaranteening , it's tested for rabies and the owners are usually facing misdemeanor charges.....simple battery! She is as responsible for her dogs actions as she is for her own actions in my book. Good luck and keep pushing. 30 dogs? Hmmmmm, does she have a kennel license? I love dogs, they are man's best friend, but an aggressive dog spells danger.
