I know these guys (meteorologists) seem wrong more often than they are right, but this certainly looks promising for Live Oak: http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLocalStd.asp?loc=usflct14760&seg=LocalWeather&prodgrp=Forecasts&product=Forecast&prodnav=none&pid=none Great to catch up with JNB at the Dogwood Festival today, and renew my subscription to Hittin the Note at their booth by the main stage. I had the opportunity to see The Bonaventure Quartet (Quintet) this afternoon, which is a wonderful acoustic jazz/swing band, a la Django Rheinhardt. TBQ is the brainchild of "Deacon" Charlie Williams, a wonderful guitar player and superb songwriter, formerly of Bruce Hampton's Aquarium Rescue Unit in the late-80s (Charlie wrote ARU's "Davy Crockett" and "Gone Today, Here Tomorrow" ). TBQ's singer, Amy Pike (of Lost Continentals), has a helluva set of pipes on her. Wonderful voice, and amazing range. I did manage to get a little bit sunburnt in the hot Georgia sun, but a great time nonetheless. The Dogwood Festival is a killer festival.
