I never understood why a player gets banned for life from baseball for gambling, due to the *appearance* that he *might* be cheating to win his bets, but when a player is confirmed to be a cheater the only thing talked about is the *possibility* of an asterisk by his stats. WTF? Selig needs the boot. I wonder if Bonds' knees will miraculously start getting better about the time the PHP gets out of his pee.
