Hey everybody. First time I've been able to get on this site in weeks. I was reading the posts to the Guestbook and just had to laugh about the guy leaving the show because they played a Dickey song.
Maybe I'm slow, but I've never heard of walking out of a concert because the band played a song you LIKED. Is this not a bizarre form of behavior? I could understand it if you hated Dickey, but why would a Dickey fan not want to hear a Dickey song? Do you also smash your radio every time "Blue Sky" comes on? or possibly hurl beer bottles at the stage when a cover band does "Jessica?" I love Dickey's songs so much they must never be played. What about when Phil Lesh was covering "Blue Sky?" Would that cause you to leave? What's the difference? I for one will NEVER ***** about hearing good music at a concert I payed to go to.
