Guest Book

Another epic Beacon weekend in the books for me. Lori & I had a wonderful time & it was great to spend so much time with so many Guest Book and listserv folks. "Ya'll a great bunch." I got a dream come true of witnessing Gregg & Van Morrison sing on back to back nights, both in fine form. The 2nd ABB set on Thursday and the first set on Saturday were just amazing. Overall, both ABB shows were good, with plenty of magical moments. Van on Friday at the Apollo was as good of 90 minutes of music as my ears have ever heard (but it was indeed 18 songs in 90 minutes). Props to the Hospitality Suitees for such a classy fundraising event and for the party on Sat. Big thanks to Karen for the Thurs night gathering, Scotty & Big Men for the leftcoast bash, and Gary Nagle for another classic Gin Mill gathering. I couldn't get enough and was bouncing from party to party. Late night at the P&G was a treat with so many folks as well (I didn't want it to end!!). Top musical highlight I think for me was Gregg & Warren on These Days. It was a thing of absolute beauty. The smile has not left my face yet!
