Last night was definitely up there with the best I've seen. The other day someone said Oteil was all over "Egypt"; well he was again last night, but so was Derek. Amazing! Oteil was hot, hot, hot last night! Come to think of it, they all were. Gregg never sounded better; the acoustic set was almost too much! "Please Call Home"... what can you say? Just beautiful, and Gregg was not more than 10 feet from me while at that piano! "These Days" was always a favorite of mine, as I am a big Jackson Browne fan from waaay back. To hear Gregg and Warren harmonizing so beautifully on that was heaven. And hey kids...can you say MAYDELL????? I remember turning to Cujo with my jaw on the floor when they started that one! Yikes! And I finally got a "Stormy Monday"...ooooo Gregg, you really nailed this one! The sky's the limit with this band; talk about raising the bar! I can only wonder what Thursday will bring.....can't wait!
