Regarding the SRO fiasco-- from what I understand, the fire marshalls paid a little visit before the run, and were very stern about people standing in the aisles. Last year they said people with backstage passes had to be back stage or in a seat; previously (and I think for other artists) a pass lets you roam the floor. THe band really cares about the fans, I think especially the ones dedicated to come to the shows, and I am told by Deep peach that they collectively felt real lousy about what happened to these fans who bought the SRO tix, and they are doing everything in their power to make it as right as possible. I don't know if I'd single out Butch, because I think not just Butch, but everyone in the organization gives a damn and felt bad about the bummer laid on the band eve of run.
