I see the rumors are true about Jimmy Herring joining The Codetalkers on a part-time basis. I wonder if "mid-April" includes April 15 for the "To Be Announced" slot on the Mushroom Stage at Wanee Fest. Seems like Jimmy will be there anyway if Frogwings is indeed playing Wanee Fest.

Jimmy Herring and The CodeTalkers
This past fall, guitarist Jimmy Herring sat in with the The
CodeTalkers during their set at MagnoliaFest. Now he is rejoining his
longtime fellow traveler in Zambi, Col. Bruce Hampton, for two and a
half weeks beginning in mid-April. Herring will perform with the
CodeTalkers during a stretch of shows that will begin in Chicago and
route down to New Orleans. A month later Herring will rejoin the
group for a headlining appearance at SmileFest.
