Sorry for not getting back to y'all on the my source of info on H.R. 3782. There's and article on Jambase.com that even has a sample letter you can cut and paste to your congressman, or just to get an idea of whatto say. Yeah when the gov't gets up in arms about something, the pendulum can swing too far in the wrong direction i.e. "hate crime" legislation or mandatory minimums. Hey it's the weekend though and I don't mean to start a thread bigger than this guest book.
Sooo, On another note, anybody going to check out Dickey tomorrow (sat) at Freebirds in Jacksonville Beach FL? It's Skynard's place- really cool joint. Like a mini-HOB. Speaking of Dickey that acoustic Ramblin' Man sounds super cool.
Odd pairs: On CMT they've been playing some good stuff. The other night they aired an old Glen Campbell show and he did a duet with Stevie Wonder sitting on his piano bench playing acoustic guitar. They did Dylan's "Blowin in the Wind" with a gospel feel. It was simply magnificent. Campbell is one heck of a picker! Sorry for Ramblin'.... Man.
