I like that Carol..."with true love, comes such pain". So true. Linnie, I have had a lot of dogs as pets in my life-I have 2 now and usually have had 2 or 3. I loved them all so much. When my first airedale had to be put to sleep, I could not say his name for a year without crying. The one constant though was that in loving them so much, whenever I had to put them down, I usually realized that I waited a day, week or month too long, hoping for a miracle. They really can't show their pain that much.So, you know when it should happen. Good luck and my condolances for your baby (as an empty nester, mine are my granchildren) and she will be waiting at the rainbow bridge for you. Carol, I just got the christmas cd's back in the mail today. Sorry, I will re-mail them and this time I think I will try using postage!
