I got a chance to see Derek Trucks Band last Saturday night in my hometown of Mamaroneck. Emmelin Theater is part of the town library. It was the closest I have ever been to a studio setting. I do not think I have ever seen Derek smile so much and laugh so much. They all seemed to be having a ball. It was fun for us too.
It was interesting though when someone yelled louder the band got softer yet with no less intensity. True musicians were at work. I can't wait for March.
