Just passing this along, can't take credit for finding it. =============================== Just saw this item in the Palm Beach (FL) post. Link to the complete column is included below but here's the important stuff: Rock 'n' roll fest: Tickets go on sale Jan. 17 for the Wanee Festival in Live Oak. The what? The Wanee Festival (as in Suwanee without the S-U). It's a two-day binge of good ol' rock 'n' roll in all its forms, plus camping, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing and canoodling at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. In the lineup: The Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, Robert Randolph, Max Creek, Derek Trucks Band, Galactic, John Popper, Ekoostik Hookah, Dark Star Orchestra, Oteil and the Peacemakers and Yellowman. For years, the festival has been a dream of Allman Brothers drummer and Palm Beach resident Butch Trucks, who finally was able to put it together with another Palm Beacher, Jon Stoll of Fantasma Productions. Go to www.waneefestival.com. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/accent/content/accent/epaper/2005/01/09/a2k_partypeeps_0109.html ======================= Check out the schedule. In addition to two nights of the Brothers and other family bands, there's also a Frogwings Jam listed. One word....WOW!!! http://www.waneefestival.com/schedule.html Way to go Butch! Ron
