Hi, maybe someone can give me some advise: I'm want to do 2 things: 1) transfer and clean up the sound of old cassettes and reel to reels onto CDs, so that I can share the live music (Allmans, BHLT, Bonnie Raitt, David Bromberg, CSNY, Leon Russell, Elton John, etc. that I recorded at the Fillmore and other places late 60's/early 70's) with everyone; 2) do basic, simple home demos on guitar, synth, and vocal for my own use. Is getting a digital portastudio better, or getting software, soundcards, and using my computer better? Would appreciate any suggestions, and what equipment, software, etc. you use. Thanks in advance, and I'll be happy to share the good music with everyone!
