Hey now folks - Donna opened for Gatemouth earlier this year and it was a fantastic show. Dr. Dan (of the Fiji Mariners) sat in with Gatemouth for his entire set. Dr. Dan toured with Gatemouth for 4 years and always said he learned more from him than he ever did at Berklee (where he was Jeff Sipe's roommate). I hung out with Gate for a few minutes before the show and reminisced, but did not talk about his cancer. Carol, I solved my problem! I copied and pasted your text into Word and broke it into 8 paragraphs -- finally I was able to read your post without going cross-eyed. Your gentle words are a highlight of the Guest Book and I am happy not to have to skip over them any more. My eyes are not the same as they once were ...
