Happy Birthday Rick and Greg!!!!!!! love you both! Tyler..prayers and great vibes..hope you are feeling better...Not too much I can add to Rob's post concerning the concert for the Big House ...It was Outrageous! Thanks Kirk and Kirsten, GABBA and all the good folks that keep the spirit of Brothers and Sisters alive. Yes, it was videotaped, I believe to be offered up as a fund-raiser for the Big House Foundation, and also, there was a fabulous video shown before the concert, that is a must see for any fan of the ABB. Karen, there is a nice shot of Otiel wearing his Peace necklace in the video! you esp will LOVE it...Another of the fundraising efforts I thought was esp interesting, for anyone who may need a $5000 tax write...there will be a cozy little Big House-front porch -picking Grand Opening Celebration ..performers to be announced.. Anyone who has had the pleasure of visiting the Big House,and seen the magnifenct job Kirsten and Kirk so lovingly do , as well as those who wish to visit in the future, always free of charge, will agree this is a noble cause. And yes, God bless Chuck , for his contribution...Chuck proved , not only to be a musician extraordinaire, but a gentleman , a scholar , and one of the worlds great environmentalist to boot! Cowboy, you might want to look into Chuck's Forever Green book, for your lady. I hadnt seen Chuck play, since his gigs with the Brothers, back in the 70's . Not only was the show supreme, he met with all the guests, took lots of time to talk and socialize, and signed autographs for everyone..PLUS Christmas Carols!!!!! Please Come Home for Christmas (I got my wish for a Blue Carol ,afterall ) speaking of which, Bluefox Christmas Carol THANK -YOU so much for the incredible Lee Roy Parnell super-deluxe package! I LOVE it! make sure you email that gal Sherry I told you about..Im overwhelmed here with hurricane/roof cleanup, misplaced your snail addy, she needs it to put your charcoal print of Duane in the mail to you..Merry Christmas! Stacy Allman, Gregg's better half, was at the show, and I thanked her from all of us, for the blessing she has been in Brother Gregg's life....She is such a sweet woman...Gregg is a lucky man. She did say that Gregg is very excited about the band he has put together..Im VERY excited about the Ricochet /Ft Myers show!!! YEHAW!!! practically in my back yard.....Carol Bluefox, I know you and LR bitched about that place (too Country?) but you can be damned sure I will be there in my Cowgirl boots. Kevin and I have seen Marshall Tucker, Willie (twice) Mama's favorite , Lee Roy, and now Heddy's best friend Floyd and Brother Gregg there......Im gonna kiss that sweet Cowboy that owns that joint when I go buy my tix! One last note..Mama Louise still has her leg wrapped, (as it was in september) what with diabetes and working so damn hard all the time..it is taking its sweet time to heal....PLEASE ya'll, keep her in your prayer as you do your own Mothers and Grandmas....and may God bless the brave heroes of the Chicago Fire Dept!
