I remember back in the day we all would get high in this house. Laid Back came out, and we listened to it all the time. The first cut was M.R. and then Queen of hearts. Those two songs would just blow everyone in the house away. We thought Queen of Hearts was the most beautiful song we had ever heard. Gregg proved on that album that he was not only the greatest white blues singer alive, but also a ballad singer. The words he wrote for that album could put you into his shoes and you felt what he felt.
