Randy, you make me blush! its those friday the 13th I need to learn to do without.....I do thank the higher power for the gift of joy in my heart...Listen to this..so Im shuffling through the mess, just a few minutes ago...(im a better gardener/Mama/cook than housekeep) and find 2 tiny pieces of paper, look close, and Ill be damned if it doesnt look like autographs, something...than I see Betts..Im thinking..wwhhhhhhaattt? its not Dickey's ...Id know his hand blind...Its Duane and Berry Oakley2..Im in heaven! Judi ..do you see this..and I know you do...hope your Mom , Brother and family's Thanksgiving was grand! Judi was with Kevin and I the night those autographs were written, and I know I embarassed the hell out of her when I asked for them....Floyd &Claudia and all the little Miles..I see ya'll out there too...Love and Happy Holidays and thanks for being such good friends to all of us........Gregg...if I wasnt too proud to beg....Id be on my knees praying for Friends dates, Southern-style....speaking of which...RT, I cook my Greens in olive oil with tons of garlic, which I think is hysterical....In Brooklyn and/or Connecticut we would cook Dandelion greens (the flower-heads make great white wine) not for Thanksgivng, but Easter, this way....The first time I was treated to Collards was by Mama Louise, cooked with smoky ham hocks, of course..mmmmmmmmmm! I always think of Mama L and Mama Hill on Thanksgiving, not only for the blessing they have been in all of our lives, but also out of pure love and respect.... Those good gals live everyday like Thanksgiving...Later ya'll....I have to go out into the mean old world on this fine saturday and find as dressy a winter jacket I can..Not an easy thing to do in South FLA, land of leisure ....eapfp, Ca
