SEATTLE (Nov. 9) - Mount Rainier shook with a 3.2-magnitude earthquake, but scientists said Tuesday the quake was not related to recent rumblings at Mount St. Helens, its sister volcano 50 miles to the south. The quake appears to be related to recent rumbling's on the 'Hittin' the web' website. The quake was centered one mile below the surface of Rainier's crater, said Jim Franks of the Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network at the University of Washington. That one mile depth its important because it represents the only spot in these United States that Warren Haynes has not played a concert as a member of any band. Speculation is that a family of trolls is looking for a guitarist to join them on their 'Back To The Stone Age' tour. Recent elections have speeded up the trolls desire to tour. Sunday's quake occurred within a cluster of 17 to 18 shallow temblors over several hours. This time frame is thought to be how long the troll band listened to recent recordings of Mule shows sent to them by Jtuna via underground express. Scientists are watching for continuing earthquakes near the volcano's surface and a particular type of seismic activity that results from fluid moving through rocks. Those clues might signal an eruption. The scientists are reporting strange noises that some say sound amazingly like 'Slackjaw Jezabel'... Stay tuned to CNN for any further developments.
